A video doing rounds on social media indicates that Churchill show comedian Akuku Danger is in a financial jam.
According to multiple reports, the comedian was kicked out of his rental house in Rongau due to rent arrears.
The ongoing lockdown and economic effects of Covid-19 are some of the reasons attributed to Akuku's financial struggles.
Akuku Danger pleaded with President Uhuru Kenyatta to unhitch the country so that people can work and put food on their tables.
He said the lockdowns and curfews had affected many people including himself who was recently visited by a series of troubles.

'Since lockdown and curfew started in 2020, many people have been suffering. I am among those people. There were no shows and most avenues that were there were blocked. Yes I had rent arrears and what you saw is true, it was not an April Fools Day prank," the comedian said in an interview with a local media house.
Kenyan celebrities have been speaking publicly about the national lockdown and curfew that is in force and they are doing so because they more than anyone else have been disproportionately affected.
Entertainers decried their plea saying they can no longer perform at night and even in public gatherings which are restricted.
Hip Hop artist Khaligraph Jones penned a letter to President Kenyatta, on behalf of the Creative Industry of Kenya requesting him to reopen bars and clubs which is a major source of revenue for performers.
In the letter posted on social media, Papa Jones explained that creatives were having a hard time managing the pandemic without a source of income.
