Switch TV boss Tamima Ibrahim popularly known as Miss Tamima has penned down an emotional message as she leaves the Red Cross owned TV station.

In her message, the mother of one said she is very proud of the growth the station has made in the TV industry and she is also proud of being part of the team that made it possible.

Today officially marks the end of my journey at Switch TV. I would like to express my thanks for all the support the business, my colleagues, my amazing team and viewers have given me ????. Being part of @switchtvke product success and seeing the channel grow in viewership to a key market leader in the Kenyan television industry is something I feel very proud to have been a part of. It has been a pleasure for me to not only lead but also work alongside a passionate team of talented young people,” said Tamima.

She mentioned that she has now learnt the hardships it takes to grow a TV station and the experience made her resilient and able to do things when other people see impossibility.

The lessons, hardship that it takes to start and grow a tv channel from scratch to the leading youth station commanding significant market share is something that will stay with me forever for all the good reasons – it made me extremely resilient and able to execute when all others say that it’s impossible!
