Samuel Arama
Nakuru West MP Samuel Arama made headlines in July 2023 after he drew his gun to ward off anti-government protestors in Nakuru.
The MP reportedly brandished his gun after he was confronted by protesters in Shabab area, Nakuru.

Peter Salasya
Mumias West MP Peter Salasya became a topic of discussion in the country on 13 November 2023 after a video of him in a fistfight went viral in the country.
Drama ensued when an individual believed to be a supporter of Kakamega Governor Fernandes Baraza snatched the microphone from the legislator when he was addressing a gathering.
The incident prompted Salasya to attack the man, thus creating chaos in the event that was also attended by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula.

In the same month, Salasya was accused of threatening a magistrate who ordered him to pay a Ksh500,000 debt. The MP, however, denied the claim, terming it a political witch-hunt.
Nimrod Mbai
In July 2023, Kitui East MP Nimrod Mbai was caught on camera assaulting a Kenya Power employee at Acacia estate, Kitengela, Kajiado County.
In the clip, the MP is heard hurling insults at the Kenya power staffer before repeatedly slapping the employee.
Media reports indicate that the MP clashed with the Kenya Power employees over an illegal power connection at the MP's home.
The illegal connection was later disconnected after Kenya Power employees visited the home in the company of police officers.
The MP was arrested and presented in court where he was charged with assault, but was released on bond.
