Selly Kadot Amutabi is among the country's most celebrated media personalities and radio presenters.
Her unique voice which earned her the nickname ‘husky voice’ has endeared her to the hearts of a huge audience through the course of her career.
Kadot is a radio presenter at Royal Media Services (RMS) and hosts shows on the media company’s stations; Radio Citizen, Hot 96 FM.

She was born and raised in Kakamega County to popular political analyst and television personality Maurice Amutabi. Kadot is the firstborn in a family of five.
One of her brothers goes by the name Samuel Amutabi.
The radio presenter began her education at Shadrack Kimalel in Eldoret Town and later transferred to St. Anne’s Girls Mumias where she sat for her Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE).
She proceeded to Bunyore Girls High School for her secondary education from where she sat for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams and excelled.
Kadot attended Daystar University where she pursued an undergraduate degree in Communication and Journalism.
She later enrolled at the United States International University (USIU) where she pursued a Masters Degree in International Relations, majoring in Foreign Policy and Diplomacy.
Kadot boasts an illustrious career that has seen her ply her trade on various radio stations.
Before landing at RMS, she hosted Baraka Za Qwetu Na Kadot at Qwetu Radio, Tambira at Q FM. She has also been at and hosted shows at BBC and Nation FM.
The radio darling currently hosts two shows on Radio Citizen; Mambo Mseto alongside Mzazi Willy M Tuva on every week day from 1 pm to 4 pm and Wingu la Baraka on Sundays.
Kadot has also on several occasions hosted the morning breakfast show on Hot 96 FM alongside Jeff Koinange on Fridays.
She also owns and runs a YouTube channel, Sally Amutabi, in which she documents and airs people’s journeys through life.
Some of the content revolves around people who have survived illnesses such as cancer, HIV, accidents, those who have moved on from breakups, domestic violence, and broken marriages.
In 2019, she was feted the Kingdom Media Personality of excellence award during that year's Maranatha Awards.
