Cabinet Secretary for Trade, industry and Investment Moses Kuria has mocked Azimio Leader Raila Odinga and his co-principals even as they push for countrywide protest against President William Ruto.
CS Kuria in a Twitter statement appeared to raise eyebrows on the move for the leaders to conduct Saba Saba protests that they took part in many decades ago.
"Happy Saba Saba Day to my fellow young turks Raila Odinga, 45 years (Now 78) James Orengo 39 years (Now 72), Martha Karua 32 years (Now 65), Anyang Nyongo 45 years (Now 77) and Babu Owino, 1 year (Now 33). Aluta Continua! Kenya Must be Liberated," he tweeted.

The CS went on to share another cryptic message regarding the protests in Kisumu where pockets of demos have been witnessed saying:
"This is so sad now, my people in Gatundu will go hungry today because Kisumu is closed."
Kuria's cryptic message comes even as major towns in the country have witnessed pockets of demos.
In Mombasa for instance, police were forced to lob teargas to disperse a group that had begun to protest.
Most of those who protested carried banners showing complaints about the cost of living.
Similar cases happened in Nairobi's CBD, Kisumu and Luanda Town in Western Kenya.
Busia-Kisumu transport services were paralysed on Friday after irate protesters barricaded the roads as others lit bonfires.
ODM leader Raila is expected to lead his support in pushing for civil disobedience against President William Ruto.
