Narc-Kenya party leader Martha Karua has warned the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji that he will be prosecuted if he breaks the law.
Karua was reacting to Haji's sentiments that Former Director of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti would be prosecuted if he broke any law.
In a statement via Twitter on Tuesday, November 1, Karua questioned why the DPP would not let the courts determine the outcome of a case after tendering evidence.
"And if you break the law ODPP, you too will be prosecuted at an appropriate time.
"Why can’t ODPP let the courts of law and the court of public opinion make a determination upon tendering the evidence publicly in all these high profile maters Finally, let every person including ODPP bear responsibility for their actions present and previous as our laws demand," she stated.

This comes days after Haji said that Kinoti would be prosecuted if there is evidence he broke the law.
The DPP claimed that some witnesses came out alleging that they were coerced and threatened into concocting high-profile cases.
Haji's sentiments have attracted mixed reactions from Kenyans with Lawyer Miguna Miguna calling for his resignation.
"Noordin Haji: If Chebukati had done what you did, Kenyans would be under the #handchieth brothers’ bondage and Rigathi's neck would still be on the chopping board. Resign. Stop publishing your nonsense," Miguna stated.
Haji has dropped high profile cases including CS Aisha Jumwa's case.
