"Let's face it, a conversation needs to be had about HR & how operations can be managed better," Mark Masai.

Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai has asked former NTV senior news anchor Mark Masai not to be mad with HR after being fired by the Nation Media Group (NMG) station.

In a tweet on Wednesday, December 7, Alai told the journalist to seek to correct any organization while still in the organization.

"Don’t be mad with HR when you have been shown the door. Seek to correct any organization you deal with while still there," Alai tweeted.

The remarks by the blogger-turned-politician came after Masai said that there needed to be a conversation about HR and how its operations can be managed.

"Let's face it, a conversation needs to be had about HR & how operations can be managed better. Watch this space...Today," Masai tweeted on Wednesday.

The journalist's sacking came after NMG CEO Stephen Gitagama announced a major reorganisation in the company that will see some leave.

After his sacking, Masai said he had a good run at the media house after rising through ranks since joining the company over 14 years ago.

"I had a great run at Nation and it was time to move on. This is the reality of the media landscape around the world. Unfortunately, I am at the losing end of this one," he said.

Already, former NTV investigative journalist Dennis Okari has announced his departure from the media house.
