Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has stated that if former president Uhuru Kenyatta will not lead the Azimio rally in Kamukinji Grounds, then Azimio leader Raila Odinga will be insubordinating him.
In a tweet on Wednesday, December 7, the lawmaker said that Uhuru, as the chairman of Azimio, was supposed to lead the rally in Nairobi.
Cherargei further claimed that the former Prime Minister was seeking to have a coalition government.
"If Uhuru chair of Azimio-OKA is not leading kamkunji public consultations/maandamano then Raila is insubordinating his chair. The end game of Raila is an handshake/Nusu mkate govt which shall not happen," Cherargei said.
His remarks came after Raila clarified that the rally in Kamukunji on Wednesday was a public consultative meeting and not a demonstration.

The Azimio leader further warned the government not to disrupt the meeting as they will have themselves to be blamed if they planted people to disrupt the event.
"This regime is trying to paint a horror movie picture of this event. The maandamano they're talking about is theirs, not ours.
"Should they try to plant people to disrupt the event or to take advantage of the meeting to create chaos, the government will have itself to blame," Raila said.
The Azimio leader further dispelled reports that there was a fallout in the coalition party maintaining that the party was united.
