Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua could be soon in trouble if a threat by Bumula MP Wamboka Wanami is realized.
The MP while addressing a local media house has said he will soon table an impeachment motion against Gachagua over his conduct.
He said the DP has failed to represent the face of the nation and has instead remained focused on the interests of the Mt Kenya region.
"Every time that man opens his mouth you wonder whether he is the deputy president of Kenya or he is the DP of the Kikuyu republic. In fact, at some time I will bring a motion in parliament to discuss your conduct and impeach you," Wamboka said.

The MP has lately launched an onslaught against the Deputy President who he has accused of always being tribal.
“Rigathi Gachagua must know that respect is earned, how he’s conducting himself is below par. He has become a tribal chauvinist. Every time that man opens his mouth, you wonder whether he’s the deputy president of Kenya or he’s the deputy president of the Kikuyu republic," he said.
Adding that:
"He’s threatening everyone. You saw the other day when he threatened Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja. Sakaja was not elected by Kikuyus, he was elected by Kenyans in Nairobi.”
