Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko on Tuesday, December 3, penned a special prayer for 2023 as the year begins.
In the post via Facebook, Sonko prayed for God's guidance throughout the year.
Here is the prayer by Sonko;
Heavenly father in Jesus' mighty name, I honor you this Tuesday morning. Start the year 2023 with me and fulfill your promises over my life. Perfect that which is not perfect in me and around me as you put everything that concerns me in its divine order.
May your Holy Spirit lead and guide me throughout the year in Jesus mighty name.

Jehovah God, keep Kenya safe: keep us safe and keep our families safe. May we have a peaceful year.
May the leadership of Kenya including those in opposition repent before you; May they acknowledge you; May they like Jephthah humble themselves and walk in forgiveness in order to be lifted by you.
Reign in Kenya Oh God and may your grace increase in us so that we can fervently pray for Kenya daily.
