Lang'ata Member of Parliament Phelix Odiwuor aka Jalang'o has disclosed that he received a phone call from former Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho on Sunday, January 8.
In the update via Instagram, Jalang'o noted that Joho reminded him to deliver to the people of Lang'ata assuring him of his support.
According to the Legislator, Joho told him that five years is a short period of time and needs to make sure he delivers.
"Joho has called me today reminding me that 5 years is only 60 months and 4 are gone already. In his humble way " Jalas ufanyie wana Langata kazi! Miaka tano ni fupi saana!! Make sure you deliver your promises! I will always support you," Jalang'o stated.

Jalang'o was elected Lang'ata MP in the 2022 August polls and beat the incumbent MP Nixon Korir who vied on a UDA party ticket.
Mr Odiwuor was running on an ODM Party and garnered 38,948 votes while his competitor Korir collected 36,836 votes.
President William Ruto has since appointed Korir as a principal secretary in the State Department for Lands and Physical Planning.
