Suna East MP Junet Mohamed has raised concerns over remarks made by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua regarding his role in Ruto's government.
During the launch of the Nairobi River Commission on Wednesday, Gachagua said. At the same time Ruto is committed to improving the lives of Kenyans, he will focus on addressing UDA affairs because he is its leader.
"Rais Ruto ni kiongozi wa nchi na ataendelea kufanyiwa wakenya kazi. Mimi ni kiongozi wa UDA ba Nita endelea kushugulikiwa watu wa UDA," he said.
The remarks seemingly angered Junet who took to Twitter to wonder why the DP made the remarks.

He became concerned about whether the DP took an oath to serve Kenyans or the UDA members.
"Did this man take the oath of office of the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya at Kasarani Stadium or that of the UDA party? To him, the people who should work in all GoK offices should hold UDA membership cards and bottom-up manifesto booklet," he said.
The DP has been at the centre of a storm over his remarks which have been fingered as bipartisan.
On Sunday, comments that the government is like a shared company also raised concerns among Kenyans considering that millions did not vote for this regime.
