Senior Counsel Ahemdnasir Abdullahi has asked Senate Speaker Amason Kingi to effect leadership changes as proposed by the Minority.
The Lawyer in a tweet said it was senseless for the Senate speaker to dodge effecting the leadership changes in the Senate yet the minority has made its decision.
"Some things are plainly silly...if azimio's leadership change their minority whip, why should the Senate leadership play a senseless game of hide and seek and forestall the inevitable? Allow Senator Ledama Olekina to take his rightful seat as the minority whip!" Ahmednasir tweeted.
The Senior Counsel was reacting to a report that Kingi has failed to make a decision on the leadership of the Minority in the Senate.

Kingi on Wednesday failed to announce the leadership changes in the minority saying he had not received a ruling by the political parties tribunal which had dismissed a case filed by Minority Whip Senator Fatuma Dullo opposing her ouster.
Dullo was replaced with Senator Ledama Ole Kina after the Jubilee leaders announced they will be working with President William Ruto.
Jubilee is an affiliate party of the Azimio La Umoja party but MPs allied to it have pledged to work and support the government.
