A former CS and two MPs who lost in the August 9, polls are among the new appointees.

President William Ruto has made fresh appointments to Parastatals in his continued reorganization of the government.

In his latest appointment, Ruto has named Former East African Community Cabinet Secretary Adan Mohammed to be the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Leather Development Council.  

Adan will serve for a period of three (3) years beginning April 5, 2023. His appointment saw that of Francis Munywoki revoked.

At the same time, the head of state has appointed former Wajir West MP Ahmed Kolosh Mohamed as the chairperson of the Kenya Roads Board. He will equally serve for three years. 

Samuel Sakita Kutata who unsuccessfully ran for the Kajiado South parliamentary seat will now be the chair of the Ewaso Ngiro South River Basin Development Authority, for a period of three (3) years.

His appointment took effect on April 5, 2023.
