Trade and Industry Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has lauded the looming resumption of bi-partisan talks between the Azimio La Umoja Coalition and the Kenya Kwanza side saying it is a step in the right direction.
In a statement, the CS said the talks are a big boost to the Kenyan economy and investment.
"The resumption of bipartisan talks is good news for Investments and the economy in general. Violence is not the way to resolve political differences. It's time to pull together as a nation with a strong government and even stronger opposition to keep us in check," the CS tweet read in part.
The CS further told President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga that they are on the right side of history in their push for consensus saying it is the best way to solve differences.

He went on to warn that they will however not allow a powersharing deal akin to Uhuru-Raila Handshake.
"To my bosses William Ruto and Raila Odinga, you are on the right side of history. All Kenyans are behind you for as long as we do not create another Mongrel like the Nusu Mkate confusion," he stated in the tweet.
The bi-partisan talks are set to be started by former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo who was in the country last week to broker a deal.
Ruto and Rala also held talks last week during which they agreed on having talks.
