President William Ruto sustained his tirades against Azimio La Umoja leader and his longtime political rival Raila Odinga.
The president was addressing Githurai locals on Saturday, August 5, while starting his 5-day tour of the Mt Kenya region.
He accused Raila of causing political instability in the country with the intent of impeding the Kenya Kwanza government from delivering on its mandate.
Ruto vowed once again to counter any form of unrest brought about by the anti-government protests organised by the opposition.
"I have told them they won't be allowed to misuse our young people to cause mayhem. I have declared to them that it will not happen again," he said.

The president at the same time ruled out any handshake arrangement with Raila, stating that Kenya is governed by the rule of law.
"And I have told them, the threats they had for them to be included in government won't be tolerated. I'm going to be tough on them," he said.
Accompanying the president were his deputy Rigathi Gachagua, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and a host of Mt Kenya political leaders.
This as the opposition and government warm up for bi-partisan engagements to end the political dispute in the country.
Former Nigeria president Olusegun Obasanjo has been charged with steering the talks.
The sides are however still undecided on the issues to be deliberated on.
Kenya Kwanza are under the instructions to confine themselves within the reconstitution of the IEBC, two-thirds gender balance, creation of the Office of the Opposition Leader and the embedment of the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary.
On the other hand, Azimio wants, among other things, audit of the IEBC servers, escalating cost of living addressed and probe into recently police brutality on peaceful demonstrators started.
Kenya Kwanza are categorical that power sharing deal won't be tolerated in the talks.
