Former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya on Thursday, August 31 presented himself in court to testify against former Finance CS Henry Rotich in the Ksh.63 billion Arror and Kimwarer corruption scandal.
This is after the Court issued a warrant of arrest against the former CS after he failed to appear in court to testify against Rotich.
The prosecution however told the court they were not ready to proceed with the matter and asked for an adjournment.
Trial Magistrate Eunice Nyutu however declined their application forcing the prosecution to drop Munya as a witness in the case.

Nyutu issued a stern warning to anybody trying to interfere in the case or non-production of witnesses.
"I will not hesitate to exercise my powers and cite parties in court for contempt. It is also the last time the matter was being adjourned," She said.
Munya reportedly in 2019 provided key information regarding the Arror and Kimwarer Dam case that has been pending in court for years.
The former CS told the police in 2019 that a senior cabinet official had called him twice pushing for approval of Sh4 billion for the two dams that have been at the center of controversy.
Munya was required to testify in the case on Tuesday and shed more light on the controversial dam scandal.
