The clear raised alarm after learning that the journalist could have passed on. An ambulance was called but medics who came to respond to the emergency declared him dead at the scene where he was found.
Police are yet to establish whether he was heading to work. It has however been established that Sean was scheduled to be at work this Saturday afternoon at Capital FM.
Sources say he was set to interview multiple world and Olympic champion and triple world record holder Faith Kipyegon.
Sean also worked at NTV before he returned to Capital FM in June 2023.
Sean's medical condition went viral last year in February after his family appealed for financial help upon his admission to HDU.
"Sean has been hospitalized for a while now. The chest pains he had been experiencing for a while turned into pneumonia and one of his lungs collapsed, he also had an infection around his heart," the notice from the family read in part.
It is not clear yet if his death has links to the previous condition.
His body has been taken to the morgue awaiting autopsy.
