Kenyans will not be able to purchase electricity tokens from September 9, 11:40 pM to Sunday morning at 5am.
Kenya Power in a notice to customers said its prepaid token services will be undergoing maintenance.
"Our prepaid vending system will be temporarily unavailable due to essential maintenance from Saturday, September 9th, 2023, at 11:50 PM to Sunday, September 10th, 2023, at 5:00 AM," reads the notice.
"During this time, customers will not be able to purchase electricity tokens via prepaid Paybill number 888880 or Airtel Money. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers."
