Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has dared the Azimio la Umoja coalition to quit the bipartisan negotiations with the government.
Speaking on Monday, October 23 during the burial of Mzee Peter Gichuki in Nyeri County, Ndindi said the government was doing the opposition a favor by engaging in talks with them.
“Yesterday we saw the opposition leaders in Kitengela purporting to give threats that they are going to walk out of the ongoing talks. We want to tell them it is even a favor that we are engaging in those talks, the citizens of Kenya have no time for those talks. The Kenyan people want all the leaders to do their job,” he stated.
The UDA MP went on to ask the opposition leaders to focus on criticizing the government in a constructive manner.
“If you are in the opposition, you already have a job to criticize the government constructively. Please opposition leaders embark on that role,” he added.
