It was in the course of the merry that Amisi recalled the struggles his sister endured to make it to where she currently is.

Their father's death compounded the situation for her.

Still, in his heartfelt tribute, the lawmaker elected on an ODM ticket lauded his kin for braving the struggles to get an education in Australia and for getting the favour of working for the Australian government.

"I saw you grow and struggle through education even as you suffered from our father's death. Seeking education in Australia was hell on earth, moving with you from one office to another. You now have two master's degrees and are working for the Australian government. The sky is the limit for you now. Go yee and conquer the world, and remember to carry with you the good name of our nation, Kenya. Renaissance!" wrote Amisi.
