Kenya Power on Friday, August 30, at night, confirmed an outage of electricity in most parts of the country except the North Rift region and sections of the Western region.
KPLC failed to reveal the cause of the outage but noted that they were working to restore supply in most parts of the country.
“We regret any inconvenience caused and urge for patience from our customers as we work towards restoring normalcy at the earliest opportunity,” Kenya Power said in a statement.
As of Saturday morning, power had not yet been restored in parts of the country.
A quick check on Kenya Power's comment section, netizens were still complaining of power outage in Westlands, Naivasha Road, Kirinyaga, and other areas.
