The Kenya Meteorological Department has warned of high temperatures in the South Rift Valley, Coast, Western, North-eastern, and North-western regions.
In a weather forecast report on Tuesday, September 10, the weatherman disclosed that daytime temperatures in the regions will exceed 30°C for the next seven days.
"Prepare for high temperatures exceeding 30°C in the South Rift Valley, Coast, Western, North-eastern, and North-western Kenya during the day," Kenya Met stated.
However, the weatherman noted that some areas in the Central Highlands, Central & South Rift Valley, and South-eastern lowlands will experience chilly nights, with temperatures dropping below 10°C.
"Average nighttime (minimum) temperatures will be low (less than 10°C) over some parts of the Highlands East of the Rift Valley, the Central and South Rift Valley and the South-eastern lowlands," the weatherman explained.

At the same time, Kenya Met disclosed that light to moderate rainfall is expected in some parts of the Central Highlands, Western Kenya, Rift Valley, Lake Victoria Basin, and the Coast.
The rest of the country will be generally dry and sunny, according to the weatherman.
In the last weather forecast, Kenya Met disclosed that rainfall was recorded in some parts of the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin and the Coast.
Daytime temperatures decreased over some stations, including Kitui, Thika and Meru and increased over Mandera, Voi and Suba.
