Suna East MP Junet Mohamed has cautioned cabinet secretaries against castigating the government and its policies.
Speaking in Parliament on Thursday, January 16, Junet castigated Public Service CS Justin Muturi following his statement on the abduction of his son.
According to Junet, Muturi contravened his oath of secrecy when he released some of the intricate details of the son's abduction and subsequent release.
"When you feel like your beliefs are not compatible with the government you are serving, the best thing to do is to resign. Don’t bring commotion and unnecessary fights in the government," he stated.

"If you feel that you can't serve the government, go and do farming."
Junet made the remarks days after Muturi alleged that his sone was abducted by the National Intelligence Service (NIS).
In his statement, Muturi claimed that his son was released after President William Ruto made a call to NIS DG Noordin Haji.
On the other hand, he cautioned that Parliament would initiate impeachment motions against CSs who play tribal politics.
"Cabinet Secretaries must serve all Kenyans. If you want to serve your village, go and become an MCA or a chief," he added.
"I am sending a warning to CSs that if they take the direction of Wamunyoro, we will impeach you."
