Safaricom has notified its client base of an oncoming services disruption on its flagship product, M-Pesa.
In a communique addressed to the customers on Saturday, April 5, the telecommunication company shared that maintenance works on M-Pesa had been scheduled for Monday night, April 7, notifying the customers to plan accordingly.
Perhaps to reduce the impact of the disruption, Safaricom said the maintenance works would be undertaken for 30 minutes on Monday dawn, between 1am and 1:30am.
During the period, all M-Pesa services will be inaccessible intermittently; all other network services like calls, short texts and data will be available.
According to Safaricom, the maintenance is part of its mission of innovation aimed at "enhancing services to connect customers with endless possibilities."
