Wechuli became popular after a video of him giving an account of crime in his area went viral.
He was explaining how a young man from his location killed his father in the presence of his mother.
Wechuli hilariously narrated how food was at the centre of the deadly scuffle between the man and his father.
The incident happened 17 years ago.
He was christened "Chief Misheveve" after coining the word while narrating the ordeal.
The chief is hailed for his elocution and narrations using the English language despite the heavy impact from his vernacular.
He is also celebrated for valuing education and taking all of his children through education up to the tertiary level.
Wechuli, until his resignation, was the fifth administrator to have served the Saboti Location since its establishment.
