3 Killed In Morning Road Accident Along Nairobi-Nakuru Highway

Three people have lost their lives after being involved in a road accident on Monday, April 14 morning in the Manguo area along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.

The grisly accident occurred after a 14-seater matatu collided head-on with an oncoming Isuzu lorry.

The matatu which belongs to Luxury Sacco was heading to Nairobi when it collided with the lorry that was heading Nakuru.

The accident resulted in the death of three people while 8 passengers in the Matatu suffered injuries.

Police officers and emergency responders arrived at the scene and rushed the injured to the hospital for medical attention.

Photos of the accident seen by Nairobileo.co.ke showed the matatu completely damaged on the front end while the lorry overturned on the side of the road.

The accident comes days after 7 people died in a nasty accident at the Kamadura Junction along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.

The accident occurred on Friday, April 11, after a 14-seater matatu lost control, veered off the road, and rolled several times.

The matatu, which belongs to Kijabeline Sacco, was travelling from Nairobi to Kijabe town when it was involved in the grisly accident.

Five passengers died on the spot, while two others succumbed to injuries while receiving treatment.

Other passengers who were injured during the accident were rushed to Tigoni Hospital for medical care.
