Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has challenged President William Ruto to prove that they met to discuss the possibility of forming an alliance after the 2022 polls.
Speaking on Friday, May 23, Kalonzo maintained that he had not met with Ruto.
"I do not think I met with Ruto. Let him tell us where we met," he challenged.
He added that he was not interested in working with Ruto, adding that he was keen on ensuring that the President is voted out in 2027.
"In social media, you just see reports claiming that Kalonzo is meeting with Ruto at State House. The government bloggers have been spreading the reports, thinking that they were helping him. They have ruined it for him," he expressed.

"We have to take this government home. The commitment is amazing, and we are doing it with the people of Kenya. The hashtag is 'Ruto must go'. So, can I join those going home?"
Earlier in the day, reports by some media organisations detailed that Ruto had approached Kalonzo after the 2022 elections.
Ruto is quoted as having told attendees of a meeting at State House that Kalonzo declined his offer, a move that prompted him to look for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Kalonzo has been a critic of the Ruto administration and has announced plans to contest for the presidency in 2027.
Consequently, the Wiper party boss has been holding talks with other leaders, including former DP Rigathi Gachagua, Martha Karua, Eugene Wamalwa and Fred Matiang'i, over the possibility of forming an alliance ahead of 2027.
In response, Ruto has hit out at the leaders, opining that they do not have an agenda apart from removing him from office.
“They should have an agenda, a plan and a vision for Kenya; otherwise, they will fail. We are building roads. What is your plan? We have affordable housing, we have universal health coverage, and we have jobs for the youth. What is your plan?” Ruto posed at a past rally.
