Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris has mourned the death of popular TikToker Milcah Nyatuga Murang’a, popularly known as Milly wa Doc.
In a statement on Wednesday, June 4, Passaris said she was disheartened by the tragic death of the TikToker and extended her condolences to Milly’s children, family, and fans.
“I am deeply disheartened by the tragic passing of Milly wa Doc. My heartfelt condolences go out to her children, family, and the fans who drew strength from her candid and courageous voice,” read part of the statement.
The Nairobi Women Rep called on the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to investigate Milly’s death and for the Chief Government Pathologist to be involved in the probe.

She further urged the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) to investigate the online allegations against Milly’s partner, who is reportedly a licensed medical professional.
“These allegations speak to possible abuse of office and failure in duty of care matters that demand immediate attention. No stone must be left unturned. Kenya must stand for truth, justice, and the protection of women,” Passaris added.
Milly passed away on June 3, 2025, at PHG Hospital in Nakuru.
The TikToker’s family revealed that her death was due to complications from a stomach cyst operation, which led to excessive bleeding, a blood transfusion, and ultimately acute kidney failure.
Her death came a month after she tied the knot with her husband, Odeke, in a civil marriage under the Attorney General's office.
