Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has revealed that his ANC Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi is looking to delocalise the party.
This comes after constant criticism directed towards the party's top leadership which is from the Luhya community.
Malala has stated that they have held talks with some of the party's leadership and they have agreed to pave way for others to come into the party and lead.

He revealed that Mudavadi was in talks with Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina and Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop "Buzeki" with hopes of luring them to ANC.
Malala reiterated that ANC was focused on giving the party leadership a national outlook as they aim to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
"We have been receiving some criticism from other parties that ANC is a Luhya party and we want to debunk that myth," Malala stated.
He stated that they had engaged Ole Kina and Buzeki on prospects of joining ANC, alleging that they had agreed to once parliament is dissolved.
"If we want Mudavadi to ascend to power, we must delocalise the party and turn it into a national outfit," Malala stated.
He revealed that ANC was targeting a national recruitment drive in all the 47 counties across the country.
"I want to encourage the current party officials who are mostly from the Luhya nation to allow other members to come in and lead," Malala added.
He stated that ANC was looking at alliances with like-minded parties ahead of the race to State House, however, ruled out alliances with ODM Leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto.
He stated that Odinga's decision to be on the ballot strained chances of a coalition as Mudavadi will be on the ballot as well.
"We are discouraging the party leader against alliances with the likes of newly formed UDA linked to Deputy President William Ruto because it is formed on quicksand," Malala stated.
He reiterated that ANC was looking to work with the likes of Wiper-Kenya Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and KANU Leader Gideon Moi.
