Kenya Power has announced scheduled power interruptions that will affect parts of Nandi, Kisii, and Nyeri counties on Monday, November 24.

In a statement on Sunday, November 23, the company said the planned interruptions are necessary to facilitate maintainance works.

According to the announcement, all outages will run from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Kenya Power stated that the maintenance in Nandi County will take place in the Emrok area, affecting Emrok T/Fact, Kamalel Pri, and adjacent customers. 

The notice also included interruptions in Kisii County, specifically Botori Market and Gesero. 

Kenya Power listed the affected locations as Oigara, Botori Mkt, Botori Sec, Gesero Sec, Iyabe Hosp, Mis-esi, Sigisi, Mwata, Erina Mkt, Misisita, Nyachenge Mkt, St. Reuben’s Sch, and adjacent customers.

In Nyeri County, Kenya Power confirmed two separate maintenance zones.

The first will cover Ragati Tea Factory and surrounding areas including Ragati T/Fact, Gatei TBC, Gatei Mkt, Ragati Forest Stn, Safaricom Boosters, Airtel Boosters, and adjacent customers. 

The second will affect Kanyagia Market, including Kanyagia Mkt, Kieni Diary, Demka Diary, Solio Ranch, Solio Water Pump, Solio Lodge, Solio Cattle Dip, Solio Village, and adjacent customers.

Meanwhile, Kenya Power informed customers in Kiambu Town of an upcoming change to its local office, issuing a notice to alert residents ahead of the planned move.

In the announcement on Friday, November 21, the company said the Kiambu Town office is shifting from Kiambu ACK Building to Kiambu Malll, and will begin serving customers from the new location next week.

"Our Kiambu Town Office will be relocating from Kiambu ACK Building, First Floor, to Kiambu Mall, Second Floor. We will begin serving you from the new location on 24th November 2025.

"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience," the company said.
