Kenya Power has announced scheduled power interruptions that will affect customers across four counties on Thursday, November 27.
In a notice issued on Wednesday, November 26, the utility company stated that the planned outages are necessary to facilitate maintenance work across various parts of the country.
In Nairobi, parts of Langata will experience a power outage from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The affected locations include Muiri Lane, Panda Mart, Galleria Mall, KWS Headquarters, Langata Barracks, Jambo Est, KRA Langata, Shree Cutch, Samaj, Tamarind Hotel, Daisy Park, Dorothy Park, West Park, CALE Infrastructure, Phenom Park, Phenom Estate, Carnivore Restaurant, Carnivore Hotel, Splash, EPCO, Purple Dot Est and adjacent customers.
A second outage will affect the Busia Road area, off Enterprise Road, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The interruption will affect the entire Busia Road and its adjacent customers.
In Kajiado County, power will be switched off in Amboseli and Isara from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Areas listed include Jesbriquette, Sopa Lodge, Ngong Veg, AA Lodge, Mada Hotel, Kibo Safari, Ngong Narok Pri, Omra, Mbirikani, Parts of Simba Cement, and adjacent customers.

Along the Coast, parts of Mombasa County will experience a blackout from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
The affected areas include Kwashibu Road and parts of Mwembe Tayari. Specific locations are Germany Institute Mombasa, Polana Suite, Public Health Dept, Huseini Building, Cream Inn, Pwani Dishes, Ledco Ltd, Jebotel, Suki Electronics, Maskani Bar, Restaurant, Mwembe Tayari Mkt (Soko la Papa), KFA, Eastern Music Shop, King Style Uniform Center, Chief Office Mwembe and adjacent customers.
In Kwale County, power will be off in Tiwi from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
The interruption will affect Dia Chisadze Pri, Coast Water Offices, and adjacent customers.
Kenya Power typically conducts such maintenance works to improve the reliability and stability of the electricity supply network. The company advises affected customers to make necessary arrangements and ensure that sensitive electrical equipment is switched off during the outage period.
