This comes a day after Wiper Party announced that Kalonzo Musyoka will have a campaign tour of a section of Luo Nyanza.
In a statement on Saturday, October 31, the party said the tour, dubbed the 'Ukombozi Tour', is set to visit Migori and Homa Bay Counties on November 5 and 6.
In Migori, the Wiper Leader will visit the Ntimaru-Kuria route before making stops in Kehancha, Posta Grounds, then Migori Town
The confirmed itinerary for Homa Bay County features stops at the Tom Mboya Mausoleum, Oyugis Town and Homa Bay Town
"The Ukombozi entourage is heading to Migori and Homa Bay Counties. Together, we shall revive our country," Wiper said in a statement.
The announcement came days after Kalonzo said that he had planned to visit the Luo Nyanza Region, days after Linda Mwananchi was attacked during a campaign tour in Homa Bay County.
The Wiper Leader said that the chaos witnessed does not reflect the true picture of the people from Luo Nyanza, whom he termed peace-loving.
Kalonzo claimed that the area's voters are wise enough to see beyond President William Ruto's gimmicks and charades.
He claimed that they understood the relationship between Ruto and the late Raila and urged them to express their real feelings on the ballot.
Kalonzo sensationally claimed that if he is picked to be the United Opposition's flag bearer, then he would beat Ruto in Luo Nyanza.
