President Kenyatta praised the document as a key unifying element for Kenya's future and asked for the BBI report be shared widely so all Kenyans have an opportunity to read it.
During the event, journalists were asked to refrain from taking pictures and switch off their phones until the unveiling of the report was concluded.
Reports indicated that the report will be launched to the public next week on Monday at the Bomas of Kenya.
DP's allies have previously critiqued the report as a “vehicle for the political elite to award themselves leadership positions”.
