The Directorate of Criminal Investigations arrested two women and a man suspected of defrauding Mpesa agents in Isiolo County.
35-year-old Mary Wangari Hinga, Samwel Maina Ndirangu, 36 from Utawala partnered with Josephine Chesang' from Bomet in a criminal enterprise that defrauded Mpesa agents of their 'float'.
The three were arrested after numerous complaints from Mpesa agents in Isiolo county after losing their investments with some businesses teetering on the verge of collapse.
