Senator Ledama Ole Kina now says that ODM chants during Deputy President William Ruto's Narok tour affirm that the region is solidly behind the ODM leader Raila Odinga.
In videos shared on social media, Ruto rally in the Maa region on Monday, November 22, was met with pro-ODM chants that shouted down one of the speakers who had accompanied the DP.
In response to the development, Senator Ledama insinuated the happenings could not have come at a better time for critics who had doubted the ODM's wave in his county.

According to Ledama, the writing on the wall indicates that the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga will win the 2022 polls and be the country's fifth president.
"What we witnessed yesterday in Narok County is a true affirmation that @RailaOdinga is a darling of the Maa Nation and he will become the 5th President of Kenya. No Doubt!" he tweeted.
The DP had made his way to Narok town for a rally after attending a thanksgiving ceremony for Nairobi nominated MCA Leah Ntimama when a section of youths chanted pro-ODM slogans.
Narok County has been a swing region in the two previous general elections with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila bagging nearly an equal number of votes.
But with DP Ruto's forays into the region, it is widely believed that the region could back his bid in 2022 though ODM stalwarts like Senator Ledama believe Raila remains the man to beat in the county.
Senator Ledama is one of the few MPs who have remained loyal to the ODM leader even as many MPs from the Maa Community are decamping to DP Ruto.
