He was then ordered to lower his crutches with the assurance of being protected by the Speaker authority to which he obliged.
Babu on December 24, 2021, via his social media claimed that he hid MP David Sankok's crutches to stop legislators allied to Tangatanga from using them to unleash violence during the debate.
According to the fireband ODM legislator, the debate was so tense and a section of legislators was arguing with emotions which could be catastrophic.
"Tangatanga MPs were debating with emotions. They could have used Hon. Sankok crutches as a weapon to unleash violence on us, I saw it prudent to hide them until they cool down," Owino stated.
