Reliable media reports say the two were spotted at Nation Centre on Tuesday morning while on an induction tour of the newsroom.

NTV Kenya has yet again raided Mombasa-based TV Station Kenya Television Network (KTN News). 

The Kimathi Street Station has poached two seasoned journalists from the station to boost ongoing reforms that seek to enable the station to become competitive in the job market.

The two include experienced News anchor Nicholas Wambua and Editor Janet Chapia. Wambua and Janet Chapiua also reported the news.

Reliable media reports say the two were spotted at Nation Centre on Tuesday morning while on an induction tour of the newsroom.

Wambua is poised to be a Swahili editor while Janet Chapia will be the English editor.

The joining of NTV comes a month after their former boss at KTN Joe Ageyo joined NTV after quitting Citizen TV.

Ageyo had left KTN for Citizen TV Kenya before he was poached.

The political season is a competitive period and the newsrooms are organizing themselves to beat rivals in the delivery of timely and quality news to the Audience.

Others who have recently been poached from KTN include Swahili news anchors Lofty Matambo and Fridah Mwaka.

Others poached include Ben Kitili who is the political news editor.

Investigative reported Brian Obuya was also poached from the station.
