Deputy President William Ruto has dismissed the Infotrak poll placing Raila Odinga ahead in the presidential race.
According to the poll that was released on Wednesday, Odinga leads the presidential race with 42% while Ruto trails at 38%.
Reacting to the polls while campaigning in Mandera County, Ruto said that he had beaten his opponents and now they had resorted to manufacturing opinion polls.
The Deputy President maintained that he would beat his opponents' hands down in the August general election.
"They have resulted to fake opinions polls, we are telling them, on the 9th of August the people of Kenya will decide against deceit and betrayal," Ruto affirmed.

9,000 respondents participated in the Infotrak survey between May 23-27.
According to the poll, Raila would garner 9.3 million votes and Ruto 8.4 million votes.
According to Infotrak Research and consulting CEO Angela Ambitho, Ruto's popularity dropped after he named Rigathi Gachagua as his deputy.
