Roots Party presidential candidate Prof. George Wajackoyah has appointed Wilson Muirani Gathoni popularly known as Jaymo Ule Msee as his spokesperson and head of media.
In a statement issued on Sunday, June 12, Roots party announced that they had tapped into the vast experience of Jaymeo Ule Msee to spearhead their communications.
"Jaymo Ule Msee has vast experience in media, digital marketing, and political campaign strategy," part of the statement reads.
In a rejoinder, Jayme Ule Msee accepted his appointment as he thanked Wajackoyah.

"It's with utmost humility that I accept the appointment as the Roots Party spokesperson & Head of Media. I truly thank the 5th @profgeorgewajackoyah, our running mate Justina Wamae & our party officials for having faith in me to serve in our party to ensure we get a resounding victory on the 9th of August . It's time for our generation to make the right choices," he stated.
Wajackoyah has promised to legalise bhang if elected during the August 9 polls.
The Roots Party presidential candidate has created excitement online, especially among the youth.
He recently said that legalizing bhang and snake farming would help clear the debts for Kenya.
