Mohamed graduated from Periyar University, in India, in 2009 with a degree in computer science.

Abdullahi Mohamed, the man who DCI boss George Kinoti claimed was the host of three  Venezuelans arrested for suspicious activities last week, now says his life is in danger.

Until his mention by Kinoti, Abdullahi had kept a low profile from the public.

It is after the DCI boss revealed that he hosted three Venezuelans suspected of engaging in malpractice that many questioned his identity.

The three Venezuelans are Jose Comargo Gregorio, Joel Gustavo Rodriguez Garcia and Salvador Javier Sosa Suarez.

A report has revealed that Abdullahi is the CEO of Seamless Limited, a Nairobi-based technology company caught at the centre of a storm pitting the IEBC against the DCI.

"Smartmatic had sub-contracted me for the upcoming polls and while the saga ensued, I recorded statements with the DCI and gave all corresponding documents that pointed to the working relations between Smartmatic, the IEBC, the Venezuelan nationals, and Seamless Technologies," he told NTV.

Abdullahi added that the move by the DCI to share his private information with the public has put his life at risk

"Having cooperated with the DCI, I am surprised that the DCI chose to share partial information with the public that has since turned me into a person of interest."

While condemning the arrest of three Venezuelans last week, the IEBC boss Wafula Chebukati said the three were employees of Smartmatic holdings limited, a firm contracted by the IEBC to provide technology infrastructure for the August 9 polls.

A rejoinder by the DCI, however, revealed that the three Venezuelans were neither employees of the IEBC nor Smartmartic Holdings limited

Kinoti said the three were in the country following an invitation by one Mohamed Abdullahi.

Abdullahi has an office off Dennis Prit Road, Nairobi, where he operates a tech company.

Tellingly, at the registrar of companies, the Kimathi Street-based TV Station claims Seamless Limited has no one listed as the director of the company.

Nairobileo.co.ke has also learnt that Mohamed graduated from Periyar University, in India, in 2009 with a degree in computer science, his Linkedin accounts showed.

He has worked as an employee of Tospey Limited and has offered Consultancy for the European Union Elections Observation Mission during the 2017 elections.
