Former chief of staff in the office of Deputy President William Ruto Ms. Marianne Kitany has been elected as Aldai Member of Parliament (MP). 

Ms. Kitany vied on a  United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party to beat her challenger Cornelly Serem. 

She garnered 42, 015 votes while Mr. Serem got 13, 309 votes.

In other election results, Felix Jalang'o of ODM trounced UDA's Nixon Korir in the Langata parliamentary seat. 

Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni also conceded defeat in the Ndaragwa Constituency parliamentary race to George Gachagua of UDA. 

UDA candidate for Kamukunji parliamentary seat Robow Hassan also conceded defeat to the incumbent Yusuf Hassan of the Jubilee party.
