Governor Fernandes Barasa's Mother Dies

Kakamega Governor Barasa Fernandes's mother Philomena has passed on. 

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party on Friday, October 21,  shared a condolence message with the Kakamega Governor. 

"Mama Philomena Barasa, mother to Barasa Fernandes, Governor of Kakamega County. We pray to God to grant Hon. Barasa’s family fortitude during this very difficult time. May the soul of Mama Philomena rest in eternal peace," ODM tweeted.

The Council of Governors (CoG) chairperson Governor Anne Waiguru has also shared a condolence message on behalf of the Governors.
