NTV senior political reporter Kennedy Murithi has landed a lucrative deal with the Tharaka Nithi County government.
In a statement on Monday, November 14, Murithi was appointed as the Tharaka Nithi County political advisor.
Tharaka Nithi Governor Muthomi Njoki appointed Murithi to the position, as he also made four other appointments.
The four others appointed alongside the NTV journalist were Gideon Gitonga Thuranira (Economic Advisor, David John Mbaya (County Attorney Nominee), Alexander Micheni Muratha (Acting County Secretary) and Stephen Nthiga Mitugo (Acting Director Human Resource).

Murithi's appointment comes after his colleague, NTV Swahili news anchor Salim Swaleh, was appointed the ICT, e-Government, and public communication Chief Officer of Nakuru County.
Swaleh was appointed to the position by Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika, who made 21 appointments in the county.
“Pursuant to the provisions of the County Government of 2022, the county government placed an advert for qualified applicants to apply for the position of county chief officers. Twenty-one names found suitable have been forwarded to the county assembly for vetting and approval," read a notice by Kihika.
