Citizen TV Anchors Rashid Abdalla and Lulu Hassan require little to no introduction in the media scene.
Their prowess in delivering current affairs stories on Saturday and Sunday during prime time news at Citizen Nipashe 7:00 pm (EAT) has seen the show gain traction from Kenyans.

You might be wondering how they have been successful in replicating their success off the air? Nairobileo.co.ke has scrutinized their success at their production house to answer that.
Jiffy Productions has been behind some of the Swahili Soap operas aired. According to a research firm Geopoll on Radio and TV ratings, Maria's show was the most-watched show at a rating of 31.77percent.
Citizen Anchor Lulu had in the past been quoted in an interview praising her husband as the brain behind their successful shows.
"We have a group of writers but Rashid spearheads everything. He is very creative, intelligent, and wise. I head the technical team and together we ensure that everything is near perfect," Hassan stated.
"We wanted to uplift actors and we decided to pump new blood in the new show. There are very many talented people out there. Kenyans were used to the veteran talented faces and even if you gave them new roles, no one would notice the change we wanted."
Their works continue to inspire the masses across the country. Not only do their shows get aired at Citizen but also in Multichoice substation called Maisha Magic, such as Kovu.
