Other EPL players he's had the privilege to shave include Jeffrey Schlupp and Youri Tielemans among others.

Najim Nagy, a Kenyan barber based in Leicester City in the United Kingdom, is one of the many Kenyans flying the country's flag high in the diaspora.

Najim, a native of the Makadara area in Mombasa County, moved to Leicester in the early 2000s to secure green pastures.

As a skilled barber, he set up a shop in Leicester and started offering his services to locals. His excellent skills endeared him to many, including some of the top English Premier League (EPL) players back then.

Najim divulged that some prominent football players who frequented his barber shop include former Leicester City player Riyad Mahrez and Ngolo Kante.

Other EPL players he's had the privilege to shave include Jeffrey Schlupp, Youri Tielemans, and Nathan Dyer, among others.

Opening up on his experience working with the EPL players, Najim noted that he was closest to Mahrez, adding that he's the one who came up with his shaving style.

According to Najim, Mahrez was impressed with his services, and over time, they became friends to the extent that he could invite him to cut his hair at home, where they sometimes watched football games and had meals together.

On his experience working with Ngolo Kante, Najim noted that he was humble, adding that, unlike other prominent personalities who prefer booking appointments, Kante would drop by, queue, and interact with other customers.

Although Najim did not reveal how much he makes from shaving the football stars, he noted that there's no fixed price for them, giving the example of Mahrez, who said he made his payments in a lump sum.

"He doesn't give me money every time I shave him. I can shave him twice in a row without him giving me money, and it's not that he doesn't have money; it's probably because he doesn't walk around with money every time; the third time I shave him, he'll come and give me money that will cover for the previous cuts. It's always big money," he said without disclosing the exact fee.
