Political Analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has weighed into the move by the State to withdraw the security detail of Mama Ngina Kenyatta.
The analyst said the State was focusing on the wrong person since it is the people who are the "enemy" of the government and not Mama Ngina.
"In sum: the Enemy is not Mama Ngina. The Enemy is the people. It is easier to negotiate with Raila than to negotiate with angry people led by people you do not know. Do not assume that you Know. Dear Ruto, you are focusing on the wrong problem," Ngunyi tweeted.
Ngunyi went on to ask President William Ruto to address his issues with his successor Uhuru Kenyatta man-to-Man instead of roping in his close family members.

He said withdrawing Mama Ngina's security has set a bad precedent that could also hit him in future when he vacates office.
"Dear Ruto: crowds are unreasonable. Today they will attack Mama Ngina in Muthaiga. Tomorrow they will look for Your mother wherever she will be," he added in a tweet.
"No difference between you and Uhuru. If you start this trend, it will not stop. Fight as Men and leave our Mothers out of it. Please."
The State on Tuesday evening withdrew the security detail of Mama Ngina without giving reasons.
An official aware of the withdrawal told Nairobi Leo that the officers were recalled for debriefing adding that they will however be deployed back.
"The guards were withdrawn from there for some debriefing but they will be back. She is entitled to security,” the official who sought anonymity said.
