A man suspected of sodomizing his 12-year-old stepson in Kibwezi, Makueni county was on Monday arrested and put in custody.
A statement by the DCI boss George Kinoti indicate that the 35-year-old Benjamin Kavindu Mwania committed the offence on the minor while her mother was away.
"Kivindu is said to have made his stepson share a bed with him, only to force himself into the innocent boy against the order of nature. The suspect had then ordered the boy to shower immediately, threatening him not to tell anyone," Kinoti said in the statement.
The boy, however, informed the mother of his harrowing ordeal on Monday and the two marched to Ulinzi police post where the matter was reported.
According to the minor, a class seven boy, the stepdad prepared a sumptuous meal for him before forcing her into the nauseating act.
"A manhunt for the savage step-dad was immediately launched, where he was trailed to Miangeni and netted," Kinoti added.
The boy was rushed to a local hospital for examination and treatment.
This incest incident against a minor came barely four days after a similar case was reported in the same Kibwezi Sub-county, where a man defiled his 11-year-old daughter at a pathway along the Mikuyuni Teachers area.
Relevant charges have since been preferred against the suspects in both incidents.
