Lawyer Danstan Omari will not appear at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations headquarters for interrogation as earlier announced.
The Lawyer on Tuesday committed to honouring the DCI summon and said he will avail himself to answer queries regarding former Interior CS Fred Matiang'i's alleged Police raid.
But on Wednesday, Omari said he won't appear at the DCI headquarters owing to a number of court cases he has to attend to at the Milimani Law Courts.
He said his meeting with sleuths has been rescheduled to Thursday to allow him to address his client's cases.
"I will not be going to the DCI today, we have rescheduled the meeting to tomorrow, the reason being, I have more than 15 cases today. Anybody looking for me, I will be in Milimani Law courts defending my clients. It has been communicated to the DCI," Omari stated.

While summoning Omari, the officers said they were investigating the offence of publication of false information and they believe Omari is connected to the offence or had information which can assist in investigations.
Omari was to appear before police senior superintendent Michael Sang at 9:30 am without fail.
Omari was the lead lawyer who addressed the press regarding the alleged police raid at Matiang'i's Karen home.
“I can confirm to every Kenyan in this country that the life of Matiang’i is at risk. We don’t know the intention of wanting to invade Matiang’i’s home at this time of the night. We don’t know why they want to arrest him and where they want to take him,” he said while addressing the media.
He said the police had stormed the home in an attempt to arrest the former CS.
