Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has given South Africa's opposition leader Julius Malema a five-day ultimatum to apologize to President William Ruto over his criticism.
Speaking during a church service on Sunday November 12, the Nandi Senator also called on the government to suspend Malema’s Visa.
Cherargei argued that Malema’s criticism to President William Ruto’s leadership is an insult to Kenyans.
“When you insult William Ruto as the President of Kenya you are insulting all Kenyans,” said Cherargei
He added,''We are giving Malema the next five days to tender an unreserved apology to the President and the Government and he should never be given a passport and a Visa to come to Kenya again.”

Malema on Thursday last week slammed President Ruto for failing to fulfil his campaign promises to Kenyans.
“I don’t know if President William Ruto means it because he said so many things, and I can’t locate him these days, because the things he said during the election and the things he’s doing now are two different things,” the EFF leader stated.
His remarks angered Kenya Kwanza leader including Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who said Malema has little knowledge about Kenya.
"I heard a certain leader from South Africa criticizing the government. He does not even know Kenya. We would like to tell leaders to respect the leaders of the country they are visiting. I was in South Africa and they ration electricity for seven hours but I did not criticise them," Gachagua said.
Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Korir Sing'Oei has however defended Malema noting that he is entitled to his opinion even though the Kenyan government disagrees with him.
